Dear Guild,
herewith I do declare it beknownst, that the underscribed, heretofore
and in the Hereafter referred to as "I", would not be averse to see
my name added to the rolls of aspirants to the Membership of your
Illustrious guild.
First, we must address the matter of formal eligibility, that is
to say the objective, numeric baseline to which all entrants are measured
and weighed, to wit, one skill over 20 outside attack and defence, if
I remember correctly. Both my Harvesting skill and my Alchemia have
surpassed this level of competence. I recommend the link
www.eternal-lands.com/view_user.php?user=Mazur in evidence of such.
Second, there are the more subjective requirements of the Guild,
concerning such mattes as helpfulness, a sense of humour, restraint in
assailing others, even in areas dedicated to such sport, and refraining
from purloining the bags left by others upon their demise or that of
their recent vistory.
As to helpfulness, for as long as the exercise does no get trying,
I've found myself often incapable of refreaining from offering help,
even if I need to go out of my way to effect it. However, I cannot
provide proof of this. As for a sense of humour, I would not dare
to offer an opinion here, in writing, on the reconrd, as it were.
Not being a native of Anglo-Saxon grounds, I would not even dare to
presume I speak the language, as evinced by the innumerate mistakes in
this blot of an epistle. As for the PK and bag-snatching, I espouse a
doctrine of non-violence, from which I only stray as far as the world
compels me, and as for the leavings of others, I need only remember my
own anguish over loss of similar nature to quench any desire to effectuate
a disappearance of such bags for my profit.
My personal goals in this world are easy to enumerate: to evoke
laughter, to learn what this world offers to learn, its knowledge,
its arts, crafts, and skills, and to enjoy.
In the hope of having answered your most pregnant wonderings,
and ever willing to supply more answers as needed,
I remain, Mazur.
